Not so well, aside from in general, the things with my digital art haven't been going well for months now. I won't go into details.(that's more for a note-the comment would get waaay to long) If the situation continues soon I'll be left with zero works in my gallery At least I'm trying not to make a decision of closing the account because I know I'd regret it the moment I do it. I removed a large portion of my gallery. Again. Now I have less than 50 work (out of minimum 300 I've made so far) in my gallery... On the other hand, everything related to my traditional art is "blooming". Hehe I bet you didn't expect a long answer like this
Once again, I'm really glad you're back. I hope to find out the reason why you temporary left sometime. I'm a curious person, can't help it Btw, you did it just right, with no big drama and you know, the usual.
You know...deviantART can be a bit disappointing sometimes. I bet everyone finds itself in your position at some point. Even I did. And that's mainly because there is so many art and too less people to watch it. At least, that's what I think. And also because because this whole "digital art" got to be a trend. Nowadays everyone knows Photoshop
I left mainly because of my health and because I didn't had time for deviantART anymore, and I just had to put things in order. I'll probably write a journal...mmm...probably not A note is more appropiate
Yeah, nowadays everyone "knows" Photoshop XD Thank God, there is no trends in traditional art, at least not the kind of trends like in digital, like: - everybody starts making works in certain style that is popular at the moment -copying style(for that you'd need some serious skills!), color schemes, concepts etc. from others - style and kind of works the popular artists make is seen like the only thing that's considered flawless and worshiped with no boundaries
(hehehe I remember one time I painted some highlights on some places in the work that were the same type of highlights that some popular artists do in their works and mine were considered wrong while no body told those artist's theirs were wrong and I didn't do worse job than them...)
-all the works start to look alike, so much that you almost cannot recognize one artist from the other- for example you see a work and you're sure it's made by X person and in the end it turns out it's made by person y etc. etc.
It feels like photomanipulation world's become too much "crowded" and there's no place for me in it anymore. There's simply too much works, especially the ones that look alike, it's hard to get noticed now, unless you're really exceptional which I'm not.
I'm too addicted to dA to not have time for it. I "make" time no matter what, I couldn't live without dA despite all of shit that happens on this site.
