I think this is somehow impossible you know... humans were created to make mistakes, it is in our learning process to make mistakes that's what makes us humans... if not we would be perfect, and perfection is way out of the window...
I think that it really depends on what a person means when they say "mistake". Every action we take has consequenses, whether it be something we enjoy, something that makes us sad or even if it is something destructive. But, whether or not the consequenses feel good or bad, they make us grow, and the experiences helps us see the other side of the coin (whether we like it or not is irrelevent). From this point of view, I believe that there are no mistakes at all (which would mean that no one makes mistakes), only actions, and consequenses. To take action in a way that we feel regret, usually means that we want to shape ourself in a way that the person we would be would act differently in that situation, and sometimes we need to do things in a way we will regret only so that we can realize that this wasn't the type of person we wanted to be and then hopefully seize the opportunity of change.
I think we all hurt people, and are hurt by people, and from time to time we take steps that aren't aligned with the taught social cultures of this world. And if that is what makes up a "mistake", then we all make them -a lot.
Impossible to not make mistakes in life. It's part of life. The trick is to give the mistakes a purpose that you learnt from them somehow and then they don't seem quite so much like mistakes anymore.
They are so many... I`m often asking myself "what would it be if I was acting different that time?" When you think how different could be everything and how it could depend of some little decisions... Everyone who think he didn`t make any bad decisions ever, make a mistake even only with this conclusion.
I'm such a lazy ass! It's easier to hit "Edit" and update it
On the other side, the journal is completely ironic. OF COURSE there is nobody who hasn't done any mistake yet. (Babies probably) Honestly? I expect to see if that certain person who I'm targeting is gonna post a comment.

Having regrets, in my opinion, is a little worse than having made mistakes.
PS: you should make a new journal everytime you want to update it because we don't really know which comments belongs to what subject.
