I'm tired.
I'm tired of seeing people from both sides saying either "I'm leaving this place" either "I hate people that are here for popularity and pageviews".
Why don't you stop acting childish? Really now.
Have you seen a big artist from around here ever mentioning something about this? Something about "I don't care" or something about "I'm leaving for xyz reason"? NO!
That's because they really post their artwork because that's what they like and do. This is what they did since they joined.
But now - and no offense - teenager girls post journals saying "I'm leaving this place.I hate you all.I'm tired of posting art and never get recognition for it" or "I don't care about pageviews. I'm not here for them"
Then why the heck are you screaming it out loud? Just shut up and do your job. Don't make a drama out of everything!
You wanna leave? Go ahead and leave. Post a journal saying good bye, give reasons if you have or just get out here and do your thing. Why do you always have to point out someone? Certain people that do certain things?
Because in fact this is the way you wanna gain popularity. It's sorta like "Hey! I don't care about pageviews like you do. But still I'm gonna be popular for this"
Look around you! deviantART had tried so hard to stop this thing - silently - because there's no other way they could have done it. Nobody wants frustrated people spamming their inbox with "Hey,what's ur prob buddy? Ur an admin and ur messing up with people that don't have the influence you have?". Like please!</b>
They have the "blind pageviews" option. If you don't care about pageviews - why don't you use it? Do the damn thing and that's it. But don't write a journal then saying "I am blind to pageviews.I don't care about them" and make a history out of it.
We see this. We all see this because you have that little icon up there, remember?
Don't train to gain attention by being a warrior and attacking people who care about pageviews or do different things for them. We all want to make a living, don't we?
If I'm fine with myself - what's your problem? Who are you to judge me after all?
If I care for those pageviews and you don't - that's Ok. We have different opinions. Can't we live in peace and harmony because of this thing?
I don't care about them and I'm mad on those who do - but that's it. Who am I to change them, blame them or judge them?
I can have 1,000,000 pageviews and be a f*ckd up someone who posts crappy work - but I'm active around and that's what attracts people to my page.
But I can have 1,000 pageviews and have extremely wonderful art. But I'm not active. I just post my work and that's all.
I just have to say it out loud. Because I really don't care about what people will say.
It's obvious that deviantART has a huge amount of so called "photomanipulators" - as in depressive girls who post dark art because they follow a certain trend and certain someone and that's the people who usually start this fight. About pageviews and popularity. When will you ever grow up?
Please just stop this drama once and for all.
I'm begging you!
